The Ivy Cardiff
The Ivy Cardiff dress code is Smart Casual. We are unable to allow dogs in the restaurant. However, Registered Assistance Dogs are of course welcome. The restaurant has accessible facilities.

In accordance with the Welsh Government guidelines, the maximum number of people that can meet from different households (not including children under 11 or a carer) is 4 people. If you are more than 4 people, you must come from one household. All guest’s details will be recorded at time of booking or you will be contacted prior to arrival for the names of the guests dining with you. ID will be checked on arrival so please bring proof of ID. For parties of 5 or more, please bring proof of address in addition to ID. Please note some tables may be within the private dining room to support social distancing.
All of our menus are available on our website, but should you have any specific requirements related to an allergy or intolerance, please specify at the time of your booking and our team will assist you with the menu on the day.
Our nearest parking is located at St David’s Shopping Centre.
We welcome children of all ages. However please do count them (including babies) into your final party size. If you would require a highchair or space for a pushchair, please do specify this at the time of booking.
Due to the limited restaurant capacity, we are not accepting bookings or walk-ins for drinks. Our bar areas are not in operation due to social distancing. We kindly ask our guests to arrive at the time of their booking as our bar area will not be currently operating as a waiting space.
We do not allow any party decorations in the restaurant such as balloons, banners, confetti and glitter. Should you wish to have a celebration cake, please call us at least 48 hours prior to your reservation and we would be delighted to assist.
We will do our best to accommodate all table requests, however tables are allocated on arrival and cannot be guaranteed.
We are currently not offering afternoon tea menu. We will be reinstating the menu again in the following months.
